Ramadan: MAOS Felicitates Members

The Mass Communication Alumni of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree (MAOS) has felicitated with their Muslim members on the commencement of the 2020 Holy month of Ramadan.
In a press release personally signed by its National President, Comrade Jide Afolabi, he urged the Muslim faithfuls to use the Holy Month to pray for the peace of Nigeria and pray against the pandemic COVID-19 rampaging the world.
He said, “It is a holy month and we must take advantage of this season to pray against the COVID-19 pandemic and the unity and progress of our great Association”
He noted that this year’s Ramadan is special because of the situation around the globe and Nigeria in particular.
“The 2020 Ramadan is unique considering the times we are in, we urge that prayers be offered for humanity to overcome the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We urge us to use this Holy month to pray for MAOSITES home and abroad and Mass Communication Alumni of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree (MAOS) generally.
He appealed to members not let the lessons of Ramadan which are piety, self-discipline, sacrifice and love be lost on them.
Afolabi wished all members Ramadan Kareem.
