By Our Reporter

The Human Capital Providers Association of Nigeria (HuCaPAN) has felicitated Christian faithfuls on the occasion of this year’s Christmas celebration urging them to imbibe the spirit of love.
The Association made the appeal in a press statement signed and issued by its Executive Secretary, Mr Olajide Afolabi, on Friday, saying that only genuine love can bring peace to the world.
He said, “God proved His unconditional love for us and that was why He gave us Jesus Christ whom we are celebrating today. His humble birth alone showed the character of the person Christ is.
He added that three things stands out about Jesus Christ, “Faith, Hope and Love but the greatest of them all is love. And that same love made it possible for Christ to live a sacrificial life.
“We have to love one another just as Christ loved us. It is only love and genuine forgiveness that can bring peace and without peace, there can not be development. Therefore, if we desire development as a nation, we must love one another.
The Human Capital Providers Association of Nigeria (HuCaPAN) is the umbrella organisation of registered/licensed recruiters in Nigeria, also referred to as Private Employment Agencies (PEAs).
The aims of the Association, among others are to develop and promote International Labour Organization (ILO) standards and ethical practices in recruitment, development and management of outsourced personnel. The Association was midwifed by the Nigeria Employer’s Consultative Association (NECA) and the Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment, with international guidelines from the ILO.
Afolabi wished Christians especially, HuCaPAN member’s a merry Christmas and prosperous new year.
