Osun Online Media Practitioners Congratulate NUJ Chairman, Ayantunji On His Appointment

Members of Osun Online Media Practitioners Association of Nigeria (OOMPA) have congratulated Comrade Kehinde Ayantunji, on his appointment as Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Students’ Affairs and Social Mobilization.

The online media Practitioners in a statement jointly signed by their Chairman, Comrade Jare Tiamiyu and Publicity Secretary, Comrade Tunde Olorungbotemi and made available to CityMirrorNews in Osogbo, on Friday, described Ayantunji’s appointment as well deserved.

CityMirrorNews reports that Kehinde Ayantunji is the Chairman, Nigeria Union of Journalists, Osun State Council and he was students Union leader.

According to OOMPA members, Ayantunji being a one time students’ Union leader would use his wealth of experience to perform tremendously well in his new task.

The online media Practitioners further explained that the new SSA has the capability to fit into any task assigned to him as far as students comradeship and social development are concerned.

The association tasked Ayantunji to bring his professional experience in students community as the former students’ union leader to bear in the new assignment, tasking him on students Welfarism.

They however, urged him to continue to uphold the ethics of integrity, hardworking and caring heart in the discharge of his duties and to promote the ideals of the students welfarism for the overall good of the institutions, and state in particular.

“As a thorough-bred Journalist, we don’t have any iota of doubt in your ability to deliver in the new assignment given to you.

“However, it is important that we encourage you to live up to expectation and ensure that Welfarism, professionalism and diligence, which we know you for, remain your watchword in this onerous task ahead of you.

“We urge you to perfectly fit into the vision of the Governor Gboyega Oyetola to equip, mobilize and rebrand Nigerian students,” the statement said.
