MAOS Congratulates Kehinde Ayantunji on Appointment as SSA to Osun Governor, Gboyega Oyetola

The Mass Communication Alumni of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, MAOS, has congratulated one of its members, Comrade Kehinde Ayantunji on his appointment as Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Students’ Affairs and Social Mobilization by Osun State Governor, Mr Gboyega Oyetola.

In a terse statement issued by the body’s President, Comrade Jide Afolabi, he described the appointment as a round peg in a round hole saying that the student affairs and social mobilisation is a well known terrain to Ayantunji who was a former student leader.

He, however, praised Governor Oyetola for finding MAOS member’s worthy of appointments stating that products of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, especially of Mass Communication extraction are exceptional.

He said “MAOS Congratulates one of our Board of Trustee members, a seasoned Journalist and an advocate of good governance, Comrade Kehinde Ayantunji on his appointment as Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Students’ and Social Mobilization.

“We are not surprised as a body because we know that Kenny, as fondly called, dedication, hardwork and commitment earned him the appointment.”

Afolabi expressed confidence in the new appointee stressing that he would undoubtedly make MAOS proud in this new challenge.

MAOS wished Ayantunji well in his new role and successful period in office. Until his appointment, Ayantunji was the Chairman of the Nigerian Union of Journalists, NUJ, Osun State Council.

MAOS is the Alumni body of former students of Mass Communication of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree. The association, among others, aimed at bringing the alumni together for fellowship and progress of members and the institution, Mass Communication department in particular.
