Hoodlums Burst Into Private Stores In Osun , Cart Away Electronic Gadgets, Other Valuables
There was massive looting in Osogbo, Ede, Ikirun, Iwo and other part of the Osun State on Saturday.
Earlier, it was gathered that hoodlums on Saturday, forcefully entered a private warehouse at MDS, old garage, Osogbo where they looted motorcycles, television and among others.
Hon Lasun Yusuf, the immediate past Deputy Speaker of Nigeria fell a victim. His new Five Star Hotel played host to the angry mob. Reports have it that several new Bajaj Motorcycle, plasma television, refrigerators and food items carted away.
Tuns Farm whose owner is Chief Tunde Badmus was the Chairman of Osun State Palliatives Committee was also attacked. His farm also played host to the rampaging youths who carted away food items.
CityMirrorNews also gathered that the youths also attacked Iwo Local Government Secretariat, Iwo carted away valuables.
Also burgled are the Ede North LCDA , Owode and valuables were said to have carted away.
Another store housing COVID-19 palliatives in the same place was also stormed by the youths who carted away electronic gadgets like television sets, radio and generating sets as well as gallons of groundnut oils among others.
This comes few hours after Osun State residents busted a warehouse located at Ede town and carted away COVID 19 palliatives.
The looting was however stopped by military personnel who arrived at the scene and prevented the looters from continuing doing the looting.
As a result of this, a mild drama was witnessed as dissatisfied youths grumbled and cursed the military personnel whom they said had prevented them from having their own national cake.
