Eid-el-Fitr: Adeoti Felicitates Muslims, Others

A frontline politician and immediate-past Secretary to the Government of the State of Osun, Alhaji Moshood Olalekan Adeoti has felicitated with Muslims and Non-muslims in the state and the country in general on the current Eid-el-Fitr celebration.
This was contained in a press statement issued and signed by his media aide, Mr. Kayode Agbaje on behalf of the former SSG and made available to newsmen in Osogbo, the state capital.
According to Alhaji Adeoti, the occasion calls for sober reflection on the part of all and sundry in view of the current pandemic, Covid 19, the country is battling against.
“The current pandemic, Covid 19 has done more harm to our nation, Nigeria at this critical moment of our nation’s history.
” What we therefore need at this period is our collective prayers against the disease and for our country to emerge from the pandemic a stronger nation,” Adeoti stressed.
While congratulating all Muslims on the successful complete of the Ramadan, he enjoined them to continue in the same spirit of ensure purity and strong faith in Almighty Allah, as the ultimate giver of life.
Adeoti further admonished all Nigerians to continue to live together in peace and harmony as the nation’s strength is derived from the unity in its diversity.
“Our country’s strength lies in its diversity as reflected in the cultures and tradition of the various ethnic groups across the country,” he observed.
Adeoti therefore stressed the need for all hands to be on deck to ensure success for the Project Nigeria.
