Breaking: Supreme Court Affirms Fintri’s Election
The Supreme Court of Nigeria has affirmed the election of Governor Ahmadu Fintri of Adamawa state.
The Court of Appeal had on December 5, 2019 dismissed the appealed filed by ousted Governor Bindow Umaru Jibrilla, and the APC challenging the election of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintri of PDP.
Not happy with the appellate court’s decision, Bindow appealed at the Supreme Court.
Delivering judgement on the appeal filed by former Governor Bindow, the apex court unanimously held that the concurrent findings of the two lower courts were right.
