Osun Chief Whip, Olatunji Organizes Training For Applicants In TEF Entrepreneurship Programme 2020
The Chief Whip of the Osun State House of Assembly, Mr Tunde Olatunji is to organise a one day Training for interested Applicants in the Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF) Entrepreneurship Programme, 2020.
Young entrepreneurs below the age of 35 who are selected by TEF will receive business training, mentorship, global networking opportunities and up to $5,000 seed funding.
Explaining his commitment to the training, Mr Olatunji said it was painful that out of 8,000 young Africans who have benefited from the programme, Osun has only produced about 28, despite the thousands of youth with compelling business ideas in the state.
He noted that most often, it was not lack of ideas that impeded the chances of young people, but lack of technical competence and support to competitively and successfuly pitch their business ideas.
According to the legislator, “It is extremely important for us to leverage all available opportunities to unlock the economic potentials of our people and the prosperity of our State.
“I have concluded arrangements to bring one of the beneficiaries of the Programme and now a Tony Elumelu Foundation Hub Lead
“The one day training is billed for Thursday 26th March,2020, while application for the training closes on Tuesday 24th, March 2020.
Applicants can log on https://www.tundeolatunji.com/tef-guidance/
Registration closes on Tuesday, March 24th, 2020.
