Again, Four Irigwe People Killed in Kaduna
About four Irigwe people were confirmed dead after an attack by gunmen on Angwan Magaji, near Kamaru in Karu Local Government Area of Kaduna State yesterday, Sunday.
CityMirrorNews gathered that the attack was launched around 6:30 pm and the operation lasted for about two and a half hours.
Those that were confirmed dead after the attack were Mrs. Hannatu Joseph, 70 years, Mr. Sunday David, 45 years, Mrs. Sarah Sunday, 40 years, and Mrs Jummai Sajeh, 75 years.
According to CityMirrorNews investigation, about 38 houses with 86 rooms were razed.
It was gathered that the community members who rose to the defense of their community were overpowered by the perpetrators strength and sophistication.
However, corpse of one of the attackers alleged to be a Fulani man was recovered from the scene of the attack.
According to Mr John Asaragi, the community leader, about 87 families were affected by the the attack.
Angwan Magaji village, though in Kaduna state, is close to Ntireku village near Kwall District of Plateau state and residents there are predominantly Irigwe people of Plateau state.
