Osun Ex-Commissioner, Alimi Appointed Senior Legislative Aide To Speaker House Of Reps

The Speaker, Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila has appointed Barrister Kolapo Alimi, a former Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs in Osun State as a Senior Legislative Aide.

Alimi’s latest appointment has been greeted with admiration by members of the ruling All Progressives Congress in Osun, describing the appointment as an insertion of the right peg in the right hole.

Hon Kolapo Alimi, the recently installed Oluomo of Erin Osun was a two term Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs in Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola’s government in Osun State

In a release moments after the confirmation and acceptance of the new SLA appointment, Kolapo Alimi, a lawyer of repute that contributed immensely to the legal imbroglio of Gov Oyetola’s election expressed a profound gratitude to Rt Hon Femi Gbajabiamila, the Speaker, House of Representatives, the Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and the leadership of his party, the APC, for actualising the appointment.
