Breaking: #EndSARS Protesters Takes Over Alausa Secretariat

The #EndSARS protesters have taken over the Lagos State Government Secretariat in Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos State.
A visit to the seat of government by CityMirrorNews correspondent as early as 9:00am revealed that the protesters have locked the main Secretariat gate locking in officials that have resumed for work.
All roads leading to the Secretariat including the Governor’s Road were equally blocked by the protesters.
Further investigation by CityMirrorNews revealed that the protesters have equally taken over the popularly Ikeja bridge at Awolowo House. Also blocked were Allen Junction, Opebi Junction, and LTV Agidingbi Junction.
It was gathered that other strategic locations in Lagos like the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Oworonshoki axis, Iyana-Ipaja, Isheri-Olofin and Oshodi among others have been blocked.
At the time of filing this report, the economic capital of the nation standstill as vehicular movements have been disrupted. Vehicles were abandoned on the roads while people have to trek kilometres to reach their destinations.
Those that could not trek further were forced to return home as a result of the protest.
Meanwhile, the protesters allowed workers that want to leave the Secretariat to leave especially, those that were ready to join the protest.
The #EndSARS protesters were chatting various songs to demand for police reform and good governance.
