Osun Chief Whip Organises Executive Leadership Training For Students Of Ife North
The Chief Whip of the Osun State House of Assembly, Hon. Tunde Olatunji, has said that any society that fails to harness the productive capacity of her youths for development is doing so at its own peril.
Hon. Olatunji who made the position in a statement made available to CityMirrorNews on Monday maintained that great nations are built on the shoulders of their youths.
The Chief Whip said he has concluded plans to organize “Executive Leadership Training” for Student leaders in Ife North State Constituency .
The training according to Olatunji is billed to take place in Wednesday, February 19, at Joseph and Alice Court, North State Constituency at 9:00am
Olatunji why explaining reasons why he gives priority to youth engagement and empowerment said, only youths with the required capacity can be fit for purpose of leadership.
The statement reads, “Great nations are built on the shoulders of their youths and only youths with the required capacity can be fit for purpose.
“Any society that fails to harness the productive capacity of her youths for development or reduces the youths into agents of violence and thuggery is doing so at its own peril.
“This leadership training program designed for student leaders of Ife North origin across various higher institutions is in furtherance of our commitment towards building the youths for greater responsibilities and equipping them to become more valuable to themselves and the society at large.
