Ila youths Kick Against Allocation Of FCE To Iwo, Storm Bisi Akande’s Residence In Protest
A mob of angry youths in Ila Orangun, Osun State, stormed the residence of a former Governor of the state, Chief Bisi Akande, to protest the allocation of the Federal College of Education to Iwo recently.
EyewitnessMedia gathered that the youths who gathered on Sunday in their large number against the anti-social gathering declared against the Coronavirus pandemic trooped out with leafs and several placards to express their displeasure over the development.
A protester who identified himself as Abiodun lamented that the town which hosts a State College of Education deserved the College of Education than Iwo.
While it is not clear if the foremost All Progressives Congress leader was around or be willing to address the angry youth, a news source noted that the protesters would continue in their efforts to get Chief Akande’s reaction or that of the Orangun of Ila.
