Osun Chief Whip To Distribute Cocoa Seedlings To Farmers, Prize To Winners Of Covid-19 Essay Competition
The distribution of ‘Tunde Olatunji free cocoa seedling to farmers in Ife North constituency and the Finals and prize presentation to the winners of the COVID-19 Essay competition will come up this week.
A statement from the office of the Chief Whip of Osun House of Assembly and the promoter, Mr. ‘Tunde Olatunji says while the Ife North cocoa revolution programme holds by 10am on Thursday, that of the Finals of the Essay competition will come up by 1pm same day.
The statement explains that thousands of free Cocoa seedlings will be distributed to farmers at the Ipetumodu Town Hall while prizes will be presented to winners of the Essay competition at the House of Assembly complex in Osogbo same day.
According to the statement, the events drawn from the Agric, Education and youth development sectors are to further provoke and stimulate the economy, particularly to improve the participation of our people.
The statement implores winners and beneficiaries of the two events to attend promptly.
