Ifa High Priest, Elebuibon Hosts Peers Of Heaven Association’s Anniversary In Osun (Photos)
– Says Bloodshed dangerous for Nigeria
The Araba castle in Osogbo on Thursday hosted the the first Anniversary of Progressive Peers Of Heaven in Osun State.
This is as the renown traditionalist, Chief Ifayemi Elebuibon disclosed that bloodshed is dangerous for the development of the country.
Addressing the gathering, the Ifa High Priest admonished the Federal Government to quickly curb killings in the country before the wrath of God descends on the country.
According to the Chief Priest, the incessant killings in the north and ritual killing in the southern part of the country must be checked by government to avert damning consequences across the country.
While advising traditional religious adherents to be knowledgeable about their religion to avoid conversion to borrowed ones, he urged them to be upright and righteous in their dealings with others to project and protect their image globally.
He said every human belonged to one heavenly association or the other, emphasising that identifying ones group and appeasing them appropriately helps individual’s journey to success on earth.
“The amount of bloodshed and ritual killing in Nigeria is worrisome. Government at all levels must stop put a stop to the menace before we God unleashes his wrath of the nation. I urge you witches and wizards to live righteous life for which traditionalist are renown for and also allow the ancestral religion reformed your ways, this is the only means through which your image could be protected and projected globally”, he said.
In her remark, the State Coordinator of the association, Chief (Mrs) Oyelola Elebuibon disclosed that the essence of the gathering was to show the world that wizardry is not evil as being projected by religion, saying if the forces inherent in it are properly harness, it could translate the technological space in the country for development.
She further admonished members to remain committed in the face of acrimony in the society, stressing that being upright and commitment to righteousness should be their watchword at all times.
