Herdsmen Attack Okada Rider In Ondo, Inflict Injuries On Him
A commercial motorcyclist, James Daniel has been macheted by men suspected to be Fulani Herdsmen along Igbatoro in Akure, the Ondo state capital.
Narrating his ordeals, the Okada rider who survived the attack, said two Men who were alleged to be Fulanis stopped him and negotiated to convey them to Ibafo ‘to and fro’.
While on motion, he said the two passengers inflicted machete injuries on him and eventually fled with his motorcycle.
” I was left to bleed to death by these two Fulanis who went away with motorcycle
“Immediately they realized that I was unconscious, they sped off with my motorcycle. Thank God for a good samaritan who took me to a nearby hospital”, he added
Daniel is currently receiving treatment at the Police Clinic in Akure
He appealed to every concerned citizens and all security agents to help him retrieve his Okada
The twenty-four year old man from Cross Rivers State said he bought the motorcycle on higher purchase.
