Fire Guts Jos Electricity Company Office
The headquarters of the Jos Electricity Distribution Company along Ahmadu Bello way, Jos, was on Friday gutted by fire.
Following the incident, many parts of the city have been thrown into darkness.
It was gathered that the fire broke out on the top floor of the four-storey building about 6 pm.
Head, Corporate Communications of the electricity company, Dr Adakole Elijah, confirmed the incident to newsmen
Elijah said, “Yes, it’s true. Our Head Office In Jos caught fire this evening but men of the Plateau state fire service have been notified and they trying to put out the fire.”
