Osun Assembly Whip Felicitates With Christians At Easter, Urges Them To Show Love

The Chief Whip of the State of Osun House of Assembly, Hon Tunde Olatunji is felicitating with all Christians in the State and nationwide on the celebration of this year’s Easter.

The Legislator in a message of celebration noted that, ” the death of Christ symbolised a great sacrifice to rescue man from self afflicted destruction and reconnect him with God.

He pointed out that, this year’s celebration coming at a period of global Coronavirus pandemic was very significant and call for sobbers reflections as it put into test the faith of man in God as the only one who has power to change situations.

He therefore urged Christians to “remain unwavering in their faith in God, use the resurrection of His son ,Jesus for a renewed call on him to safe the world from the pandemic”.

The Chief Whip further admonished Christians to use the period of Jesus resurrection to extend love to their neighbors by sharing with them in their little resources at this period of lockdown, noting that “giving remains the most notable sacrifice anyone can make”.

Hon. Olatunji stressed that, celebration of this year’s Easter without the normal pump and pageantry had never removed anything from believer’s faith, but an inevitable sacrifice by all to safe the human race from the challenge of the moment, which would surely become history.

The Legislator called on believers to remember in their prayers, medical workers and other volunteers at the frontline of the COVID-19 response measures.
