Ill Health Of Magistrate Stalls Assault Case Against Senator Abbo
The criminal assault case against the Senator representing Adamawa North senatorial district, Elisha Abbo was stalled at the magistrates court, Zuba.
The court had on 12th March adjourned for adoption of a no case submission filed by the Senator Elisha Abbo.
At the resumed sitting, the registrar of the court told counsel and parties in the matter that the presiding Chief magistrate is indisposed.
He said the matter will not be able to go on, parties should pick a date.
The court adjourned till 30th March 2020.
Senator Elisha Abbo is facing a two count-charge of criminal assault brought against him by the Nigerian police.
