COVID-19: SPAC Nation Gives Palliatives To Youths

The joint effort of different governments and individuals all over the world in the battle to defeat the Corona virus disease has seen London’s fastest growing pentecostal Church, SPAC Nation, pitch in with empowerment programme for youths and provision of palliatives to alleviate the problem caused by the global pandemic.

Pastor Tobi Adegboyega, the Lead Pastor of the Church in a message shared via his Twitter timeline said SPAC Nation had released funds to support youths and old people in African countries and Nigeria in particular. According to Pastor Tobi, “we have partnered with the Publisher of Ovation Magazine, Chief Dele Momodu who has created a transparent scholarship for most deprived students”

“Also, we have entrepreneurial empowerment session with Ubi Franklin giving some funds out to business.It is transparent. People can check out on this with those businesses”, Pastor Tobi added PT, as the SPAC Nation Lead Pastor is fondly called said he had been forced to remain indoors like many others so as to curtail the spread of the deadly virus.

“I know what the lockdown means in a developed country like UK so the impact on Nigeria and other African countries can only be imagined”

He said this has necessitated the sending of financial aid to people in Nigeria as private citizens and group of individuals who believe in what SPAC Nation is doing all around the world.

“Our financial and material aids are not restricted to Nigeria alone. We have our tentacles spread to Ghana, the UK and some European cities as humanity comes together to battle COVID-19 to a standstill.”

The SPAC Nation Lead Pastor also reiterated that this was a tip of the iceberg as the Church plans to hold a concert where many more students will be helped to go to school after the COVID-19 crisis is overcome.

“These are the things we can contribute as we strive for a new Nigeria, and I believe it is possible.”

Pastor Tobi urged people to remain calm and stay safe, strictly adhering to instructions given by healthcare professionals and governments at different levels.

“I believe we will come out of this situation healthy and strong. So my prayers are with everyone and their families in these times. Let us all stretch our hands of help and support to aid people in these times all over the world, in Nigeria, Ghana, Sierra Leone and all over. We will beat this virus and life will return to normal.”
