Osun Monarch, Eleripa Applauds Foundation For Organising Free Medical Outreach In Osun

No fewer than 500 residents of Eripa and Iree in both Boluwaduro and Boripe local government areas of Osun State benefitted from a 2-day Medical outreach organized by the Adeyeye Foundation of Eripa.

Speaking at the flag off of the maiden health outreach at the Eleripa palace in Eripa, the Eleripa of Eripa Oba Samuel Bamidele Oyediran expressed delight on the initiative of the foundation.

He urged residents to avail themselves with the opportunity provided by the medical outreach adding that the outreach will assist those yearning for such opportunity but could not to take its advantage.

He also called on other indegines of Eripa to emulate the good gesture of the Adeyeye Foundation by impacting positively on Eripa Community.

The programme that was organized by the foundation to commemorate the death of
Abraham Adedeji Adeyeye and Abigail Adeogun Adeyeye, 20 and 15 years ago respectively witnessed delivery of quality lecture, provision of medical consultation, screening and provision eye glasses, provision of drugs among others.

Speaking, one of the children, Mr. Abayomi Adeyeye said that, the foundation has committed millions of naira into the programme aside medical personnel utilized for the programme.

According to him, though the medical outreach was the first edition, subsequent ones will be enlarged to accommodate wide scope in the provision of free medical opportunities to the residents of the two communities.

In his own submission, the medical doctor that attended to the beneficiaries, Dr.Aliu Akintayo Oyewole described the gestures of the family to the people of the community as outstanding and charged it to improve on the tempo.

The medical doctor who described the exercise to be an engrossing one, commended the beneficiaries of the programme for coming out in large number to grace the occasion.

Also speaking with newsmen on the programme, Mrs. Adeyeye Adekemi, said, the organisers of the programme put it together to be able to add values to the people of the community.

She stated that, millions of naira was expended to make the programme a successful one and pledged not to relent in making it more advanced and virile.

While commenting on the one that was held in Iree community, Adekemi described it as fascinating and applauded the people of the town for responding positively to the humanitarian services brought to their door steps.
