Magu Suspension: Veteran Journalist Commends Buhari On Fight Against Corruption
A season Journalist in Osun state, Hon Olatunji Alfred Adepoju has commended President Muhammadu Buhari’s efforts in championing anti-corruption crusade in the Country.
Adepoju, made this commendation in a Press Statement issued and made available to newsmen on Saturday in Osogbo the state capital.
Adepoju, who described the President’s efforts on anti-corruption crusade as a good omen enjoined him not to relent.
Adepoju who is also into politics from Ward 3, Irerinde community of Olorunda local government area of the state also lauded President Buhari for the approval of the immediate suspension of Ibrahim Magu as Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission
According to him, “the suspension would create room for unhindered inquiry by the Presidential Investigation Panel under the Tribunals of Inquiry Act & other relevant laws”.
The Journalist turn politician, further enjoined Nigerians to continue to throw their weight behind President Muhammadu Buhari’s personal commitment to the anti-corruption crusade in the Country.
” I also want to admonished people of the country to continue to support all other efforts by stakeholders to combat corruption at all levels as the fight against corruption is an investment in the future of Nigeria” Adepoju stated.
Adepoju however used the medium to call on the teeming people of the state to continue to demonstrate their unflinching support to the incumbent administration led by Governor Gboyega Oyetola.
