EndSAR: Panic As Suspected Yahoo Guys Protest With Gun Shots In Osogbo
Residents of Osogbo, the capital of Osun were on Saturday scampered for their lives as Some youths suspected to be “Yahoo Boys” protesting under the guise of concerned youths are currently shooting sporadically at the air.
The incident which happended around 3pm on Saturday, it was gathered has caused panic among residents in the area.
The Youths suspected to be Yahoo Boys were said to have hijacked the nationwide #EndSAR protest to unleash mayhem on the residents of the town .
CityMirrorNews gathered that the said irate youths had stormed Government house, Oke fia Osogbo, shooting sporadically before they were being repelled by the personnel at the state house.
The youths had earlier yesterday stormed the state capital , protesting against brutality, extortion and extra-judicial killings by the operatives of Anti-Robbery Response Squad (SARS).
The protest turned violent as Protesters and the police reportedly clashed.
