COVID – 19: Residents Remains Indoor as Total Lockdown Begins in Plateau

Residents of Plateau State have remained indoors as total lockdown takes effect in the state.
A visit to central business districts and residential areas in the state by our correspondents confirmed that residents observed the total lockdown.
The popular Terminus market was under lock and key. The bubbling Ahmadu Bello Way, Murtala Mohammed Way, West of Mines, Zaria Road, Angwa Rukuba and Bauchi roads were seen disserted.
The governor had last week declared a total lockdown of the state taken effect from Thursday, April 9, 2020 till Wednesday next week with a view to contain the the spread of the novel COVID-19 in the state.
The governor, Simon Bako Lalong, would today flag off the Fumigation Exercise in the state.
The state currently have no positive case.
