Just In: Amotekun Apprehends Six Kebbi Men Who Sneaked Into Osun

Six men, who reportedly entered Osun state illegally, through jungle, were on Saturday arrested by men of Amotekun Corps.

Amotekun while on test running, arrested Suspects while trying to sneak into the state, at Ojo town, in Egbedore local government area of the state.

The federal government had warned that there shouldn’t be inter State traveling in order to avoid Community transmission of covid-19

The chairman, Egbedore local government, Hon. Lambi, had earlier called the Director General, Amotekun, Osun state, Comrade Amitolu Shittu at about 11hours today, that some boys from the northern part of the country were sighted in Ojo, Egbedore local government, who were tracked down and apprehended.

It was gathered that the northern youths are being tracked since they alighted in ogbomoso, following which the Amotekun team moved to Ojo, where Hon. Lambi provided a bus to convey them just as Amotekun operational vehicles excorted them out of the state.

While under investigation, they claimed they did not know anyone nor having any family in Osun adding that they had no mission other than just to come to Osun for greener pastures.

They gave their names as (1)Oseni Buhari, 35; (2)Muhammad Idiris, 25; (3)Sulaiman Abrahaman, 23; (4)Yahaya Saheedu 22; (5)Idiris Abubakar, 16 and (6)Mustapha Adam 21. All from kebbi state.
