Ijesa Sports Club Inducts Elegboro As Royal Patron

All is now set for the installation of Kabiyesi, HRM Oba (Engr.) Moses Oluwafemi Agunsoye, as Royal Patron for Ijesa Sports Club.

The Abikehin-Ekun Agunsoye II will be inducted alongside other eminent citizens of the country during the Investiture and Awards Night slated for Friday 10 January, 2020 at the Club House, Enu Odi, Ilesa.

This is contained in a statement released by the Club Secretary, Hon. Kenneth Opebiyi.

The statement noted that the Club recognises virtues and contributions of selected personalities, social organizations, royalties and corporate organisations in Nigeria.

AccordIng to Hon. Opebiyi, “the club believes that recognising the virtues and commitment of certain selected recipients would go a long way in mobilising others towards nation building and community integration.”

Other personalities to be inducted include Oba (Dr) Adetayo Haastrup, The Lumobi of Imobi-Ijesa, Oba Cornelius Omisade Agboluaje, The Oloja of Ibodi, Asiwaju Yinka Fasuyi, Baamofin Ade Adeoye, Dame Olayinka Obaleye, H.E Erelu Olusola Agbeja Obada (CON), H.E Otunba Titilayo Ponle among others.

Established in 1977, Ijesa Sports Club is the foremost sports and social assemblage of personalities who have distinguished themselves in their various fields of endeavour in Ijesaland, Osun State.
