By Abiodun Ogunrinde, Ibadan
Zenith Labour Party, Oyo State chapter has called on the Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, to fulfil the agreement that brought him to power, mostly as it affects the party.
The party made the call in a communiqué released after its extended state executive council meeting held on Wednesday in Ibadan, Oyo State capital.
According to the party, the governor is yet to consider its members for any position in his administration despite the sacrifice it made towards his election on March 9, 2019.
The communiqué also stated that vote of confidence was passed on the party’s national leader, Senator Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja for his leadership and great commitment to the welfare of the party and its entire members.
The party commended the loyalty and commitment of other party leaders in their effort towards moving the party forward and taking its members to the promise land.
The meeting called on its members in all the 33 Local Governments of the state not to relent on their oars in their mobilization efforts, assuring that this would yield good fruits in the nearest future.
The communique was signed by the party’s chairman and Secretary, Messrs Wole Abisoye and Bimbo Adepoju respectively.
