Human Right Activist, Amusan Celebrates His 50th Birthday With Orphans
An human rights activist and legal practitioner, Barrister Johnson Morenkeji Amusan popularly called Action J, has donated food items and other materials to Abiye orphanage to mark his 50th birthday.
Amusan, who was the 4th Student Union Government President of Osun state Polytechnic, Iree put smiles on the faces of orphans on Thursday in Osogbo, Osun state capital.
The legal practitioner urged them to summon courage and face their studies, saying being an orphan does not hinder or limit of pursuing their future aspiration.
He commended the authorities of the motherless home for taking care of the orphans not withstanding their condition in the society.
He charged well meaning Nigerians to reach out to less privileged around them for the betterment of the society.
“Visitation to orphanage is a very long term dream to contribute my own quota to their welfare which I thank God was fulfilled today. I will try and ensure this is a regular routine.”
“This gesture of visiting motherless children will help them morally and academically to become better people in the future.”
The management of Abiye Orphanage Home lauded the celebrant for marking his birthday with them, adding that their door is always open for well meaning individuals who wish to support the provision of care and welfare to Orphans.
