First Anniversary: Group Hails Hon Tunji-Ojo’s Achievements
Constituents of Akoko part of Ondo State under the eagies of Akoko Youth Front (AYF), has applauded the accomplishments of Hon. Olubunmi-Tunji Ojo as he marks the first year in office.
Tunji-Ojo was elected on February 23, 2019, as a Member representing the people of Akoko North East and North West Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.
He is the Chairman, House Committee on Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Member of House Committees on National Security and Intelligence, Local Content, Gas Resources, North East Development Commission (NEDC), Housing, FCT Area Council and Ancillary Matters, Solid Minerals and Pilgrims Affairs.
In a release signed by the Chairperson of the Association, Mrs. Tomitope Amuleya, and made available to CityMirrorNews, Hon. Tunji -Ojo was described as a man who has brought succor and dividends of Democracy to Akoko people.
The release reads in parts, “Hon.Bunmi Tunji-Ojo has made us realize that the dividends of democracy can get to the people. He has brought succor to the people. He brought us out of darkness to light and have victoriously opened Akoko to the world. He is the kind of person that is always wiling to help the community, that is eager about the development of the entire Akoko landscape.”
“As a lawmaker and effective leader of the people, BTO has recorded sterling achievements that cut across, particularly in terms of infrastructure. It is no news that Akoko roads are bad, but his coming has brought great improvements in this regard. He constructed Oyinmo Road Ikare Akoko, Akoko north East; Arigidi-Okeagbe Akoko (LOT2) Akoko north west; Owatumise Street Ikare Akoko To Ugbe Akoko north East; Arigi Akoko- Road (LOT1) Akoko north west; Arigi-Iye Road Akoko north west; Obanla street Ajowa Akoko north west; Ififa area Ajowa Akoko north west and Ajowa Akunnu road in Akoko North West constituency I.”
Mrs. Amuleya, who on behalf of AYF appreciated Hon. Tunji-Ojo for being a good Reprentative. She implored him not to relent on the said achievements. According to Amuleya, “Hon. Tunji-Ojo should continue to do what is doing. As a people and constituency, we appreciate his good works and we are very proud of him.”
