Yinka Olatunbosun Congratulates LGEA Appointees

A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Ife East, Honourable Yinka Olatunbosun has congratulated the newly appointed Local Government Education Authority, LGEAs, appointees urging them to justify the confidence reposed in them by the people’s governor, Mr Gboyega Oyetola.
The new appointees were appointed as chairmen, secretaries, members and Community Relations Officers, CROs, for the Local Government Education Authority, LGEA, in all the Local Government Areas of the State.
The Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Mr Ismail Omipidan, who announced the appointments, noted that all appointments take effect immediately.
He reiterated that the appointments were made in exercise of Governor Oyetola’s authority as conferred on him by Section 8 of the State of Osun Universal Basic Education Law 2017.
Olatunbosun in a statement personally signed by him in Osogbo, Osun state capital today, urged the appointees to view their appointment as an oppotunity to serve the state and not for percuniary gains.
The statement said:
“It is my pleasure to congratulate the newly appointed chairmen, secretaries, members and Community Relations Officers, CROs, for the Local Government Education Authority, LGEA, in all the Local Government Areas of Osun State.
“I implore you to see this appointment as an avenue to serve our state in a very important sector – education.
“It is an establisbed fact that our state has made significant gains in this sector in recent years due to the ingenuity of the Oyetola’s led administration and commitment towards ensuring that our children are given a befitting education.
“It is, therefore, imperative that you work assiduously to justify the administration’s investment in this all-important sector.”
The former APC aspirant to the Osun State House of Assembly noted that he was confident that with the reputation of the appointees, Osun state would continue to take the lead among committee of states in the area of education especially, science and technology.
Olatunbosun wished the appointees well as he prayed for a more flourishing state under the able leadership of Gboyega Oyetola.
