Segun Abraham’s Supporters Berates Gov. Akeredolu’s Group For Celebrating Oshiomole’s Suspension

The Ondo State APC Youth for Olusegun Abraham 2020 Group, on Friday berated Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu’s political group, Aketi Team, alleging some members of the group of celebrating the suspension of Adams Oshiomole by a FCT High Court.

President of the group, Comrade Ajayi Adekunle, however described the jubilation as being in extreme bad taste and falling within the category of unpatriotic act and celebrate destruction of party peace and unity.

Adekunle, in a statement made available to journalists in Akure, said, “He, Oshiomole, later thank God in his statement that God himself has used a Kano State Federal High Court to put the enemies of APC to shame.

“We thank God that a competent court of jurisdiction has reinstated our National Chairman and has put those who want to destroy our party to shame because of their selfish 2023 ambition.

“The same Aketi Team worked against President Muhammed Buhari in Ondo State in the 2019 Presidential Election which led us a disgraceful defeat. They diverted the APC mobilization fund with the help of Governor Akeredolu to sponsor their candidates in Action Alliance, AA, which made us fail woefully in the 2019 National Assembly election. Akeredolu and his Aketi Team should tell us what they want because enough is enough”.

The statement also, alleged Governor Akeredolu’s supporters of storming social media to hail the decision of the FCT High Court to suspend Comrade Oshiomole.

Adekunle, therefore, urged the members of the party to have faith in APC, President Muhammad Buhari, Comrade Oshiomole and Dr Olusegun Abraham who has determined to rescue the state from the current mess.
