Police Assure Osun Residents Of Adequate Security During Yuletide

The Police Command in Osun has assured residents of the state of adequate security and protection during and after the yuletide.
This was contained in a statement signed by SP Opalola Yemisi Olawoyin, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in Osun on Friday.
According to Olawoyin, the state Commissioner of Police, CP Undie J. Adie, has ordered the massive deployment of officers to various sensitive locations across the books and crannies of the state to beef up security in the state.
“The Osun State Commissioner of Police, CP Undie J. Adie psc(+) wishes to intimate the general public, especially the good people of the State, that the Police Command has put all necessary security measures in place to ensure peaceful yuletide celebration and co-existence.
“In view of the above, the Commissioner of Police has directed all heads of Police formations in the state to intensify security coverage to the nooks and crannies of the state.
“While assuring the citizens of Police commitment to guarantee crime free Christmas and New Year festivities, the CP enjoins members of the public to be security conscious and go about their legitimate activities/businesses without fear of insecurity.
“In the same vein, the officers and men have been lectured, sensitized and tasked to comport themselves to be courteous, civil, observe healthy human rights and act in accordance with international best practices.
