Oranmiyan Felicitates Alimi At Golden Jubilee, Installation As Oluomo Of Erin Osun
A socio-Political Group in Osun state, Oranmiyan worldwide has congratulated the former commissioner for local government and chieftaincy affairs in the state, Barr Kolapo Alimi on attaining the golden age.
In a statement on Saturday, the Director-General of the group, Hon Olajide Sadiq noted the sterling contributions of Alimi to the solidification of progressive rule in the state.
The group under the All Progressives Congress also saluted the celebrator for being a loyal party man, resourceful and impactful to his immediate constituency throughout his sojourn as a cabinet member under the Aregbesola administration.
The group also congratulated Alimi on his installation as the Oluomo of Erin Osun, describing the title as well deserved.
Oranmiyan said Alimi’s exemplary life , dedication and total commitment to the development of Osun and Irepodun Local Government and Erin Osun in particular informed the Elerin in Council to choose him as Oluomo of the ancient town.
Sadiq who described the title as a revered title, said Oluomo chieftaincy title is usually reserve for an individual worthy in character, trustworthy and Godfearing man like Alimi.
“As you enter the golden club, our prayers for you is that you continue to wax stronger in good health and prosperity to be able to offer the top-notch leadership you have used to contribute to the development of your people and our state as a whole.”
“History will always be kind to you because of the appreciable impact and progress recorded in the local government administration of our state during the tenure of your watch and other sundry achievements,” Olajide noted.
