ISLAMIC Leader Counsels On Happy Marriage

A top leader in Shafaudeen In -Islam Worldwide,Ibadan Dr.ADEDIRAN Ibrahim Adedayo has reminded youths to note that marriage is an institution that requires tolerance,endurance and faith in God in order to stand piously in tandem with God’s injunction.

Adediran who is a Teribiya in the Shafaudeen Mission gave the advice while speaking with our Correspondent after the celebration of this year’s Ei.del-Kabir which coincided with his 10th year in marriage where the Head of the Mission Professor Sabit Ariyo Olagoke prayed for all those marking their marriages and general intercession for a peaceful Nigeria.

Teribiya Adediran attributed his peaceful years in marriage to the grace of God stressing that without Allah and his mentor ,Prof Olagoke,the journey would have been turbulent and chaotic.

He said that he was grateful to God who used his parents and other committed family members for the happiness and bliss which he and his wife experienced in the last 10years confessing that he enjoys a special favour which turned initial obstacles to miracles.

“I would be an ingrate if I failed to register my appreciation to our father In Islam who incidentally is my father in law and father in love,Professor Olagoke, whose impact on our lives is indescribable. May Allah uphold him for us.

“We see him as a model to be followed. He lives an exemplary life and his teachings are worthy of emulation because he lives what he preaches.

On the concept of polygamy in Islamic religion and whether he is aspiring for many wives ,Adediran replied that though his religion supports polygamy ,he has no aspiration to marry more than a wife because it is not possible to meet up with the conditions stipulated in Koran and devout Muslims should not compromise Allah’s guidelines.

According to him, it is absolutely impossible because being just and fair to two wives is impossible as it goes beyond financial satisfaction because “in sexual and psychological perspective you must ensure Justice and equity to all the wives. This is not attainable.

Earlier, the Founder of the Mission,Prof Olagoke said Nigerians should be thankful to God as regards the mercy of Allah which is reducing the devastation caused by COVID 19 adding ” we should all cooperate with those saddled with the responsibility of taming this pandemic ravaging the entire world .

He condemned some religious leaders who because of their personal gains were stampeding governments to open religious houses and schools in defiance of health personnels instruction even when the time was unripe to do so.

Stressing that health is wealth,Olagoke who led a powerful intercession for the country and its leaders appealed to all and sundry to obey all safety rules like social distancing,perfect hygiene, hand sanitising and others adding “,
