COVID-19: Tuyil Donates N10m To Support Kwara Govt, Lauds Gov AbdulRasaq
Tuyil Pharmaceutical Nigeria Limited has donated Ten Million Naira (N10m) to support the Kwara State COVID-19 Support Committee.
Making the donation, the Chief Executive of Tuyil Pharmaceutical Nigeria Limited, Special Apostle Oluwole Awotuyi commended the proactive measures taken by the State government to curtail the spread of the global dreaded scourge.
Tuyil, a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing company and highest private employer of labour based in the Kwara State capital, Ilorin made the donation on Wednesday, April 1, 2020.
In a letter conveying the donation addressed to the Chairman of the Kwara State COVID-19 Support Committee, His Excellency, the Deputy Governor, Mr. Kayode Alabi, the Chief Executive of Tuyil Pharmaceutical Nigeria Limited, Special Apostle Oluwole Awotuyi (Tuyil) commended “His Excellency, Alhaji AbdulRahmon AbdulRasaq for the proactive measures he has put in place to contain the new global pandemic of corona virus disease which have put the world into standstill.
“It is indeed a trying time for the world leaders and the giant strides made by Mallam AbdulRahmon AbdulRasaq led administration have positively placed the State on a safer side. Obviously, the Kwara COVID-19 Committee under the super vision of Your Excellency is one of such steps.
“As an Entrepreneur, I have been enjoying progressive relationship from your government and I shall always be grateful to the good people of Kwara State and this present administration. The fight against this pandemic should be collective as the government can’t do it alone”.
Presenting the cheque, he said, “it is on this note that I have donated Ten Million Naira (N10,000,000.00) to support the effort of the State government on the fight to curtail the spread if pandemic in Kwara State.”
He concluded that, “it is my prayer that Almighty God protects us from this deadly virus and other ones we be unaware of.”
