Osun NUJ To Hold Virtual Training For Members

Nigeria Union of journalists,Osun state council will on Thursday hold a virtual training for its members.

A statement by the Acting chairman of the union,Comrade Wasiu Ajadosu and the secretary, comrade Bukola Elufadejin said a political communication strategist,Doctor Festus Adedayo and media strategist Mr Suleiman Aledeh will be the guest speakers at the workshop with the theme “journalism under siege in the Nigeria,the urgency and justification for media activism”

The statement enjoins members of the union and the publics to join the training which will hold between 12noon to 1pm.

It notes that the training is aimed at equipping the professionals with relevant skills on how to perform their duties in the face of provocation.

The statement maintains that the training became imperative especially in line with the recent happenings between chief Femi Fani kayode and daily trust correspondent in cross Rivers state,Mr Charles Eyo
