Eid Mubarak: NNPP Advocates Religious Tolerance

The New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) has wished Nigerians Eid Mubarak as Muslim faithfuls celebrates and advocated for religious tolerance.
The party noted that we are first Nigerians before we became members of any religious body. The party urged all Nigerians to always tolerate one another irrespective of religious differences saying that it’s only in the atmosphere of peace that individuals can make steady progress.
In a statement issued by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Rev Emmanuel Olorunmagba, NNPP noted that the various problems in Nigeria are already making life difficult for citizens, asking, “then why must we add more avoidable problems to the ravaging issues in the country?”
“Therefore, the party advocates that we all use this occasion of Eid-el Kabir to reflect on peace, unity and progress as members of the various religious bodies willingly sue for peace and harmony, always remembering that as Nigerians, we are brothers and sisters.
NNPP wished Nigerians a happy Eid-el Kabir celebration.
