Breaking: Osun Council Chairman Suspended Over Alleged Financial Misconduct
The Chairman of Olorunda Local Government Hon Hammed Anisu has been suspended from his position with immediate effect.
This was contained in a letter jointly signed by four out of the Seven members of the Olorunda Local Government Executive Council and transmitted to the Osun State House of Assembly in Osogbo on Monday.
The Letter which stated the reason for the suspension to be “allegation of Financial Misconduct and Misappropriation” also stated that Hon. Inaolaji Waheed has been appointed in acting capacity until Hon. Anisu has been cleared of all charges slammed against him.
