Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq: Kwara On The Verge Of Development-AGF National Coordinator

The National Coordinator, Asiwaju Grassroot Foundation (AGF), Comrade Ishola Olateju-Adunni has felicitated with the new Governor of Kwara State, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, on his inauguration as the 4th elected governor of the state since the return of democracy in 1999.
Olateju-Adunni stated this while delivering a speech at the 8th Anniversary and Liberty Awards ceremony of the Kwara state chapter of AGF, held in Ilorin, on Wednesday.
Congratulating the people of Kwara for joining the fold of progressives, AGF National Coordinator said APC victory in the last gubernatorial election is very crucial to the emancipation of Kwara from the clutches of oppression.
He expressed optimism that the new administration led by Governor Abdulrazaq would work for Kwarans and shame the naysayers
He said with inauguration of APC led administration, Kwara is on the verge of development and progressivism.
Speaking on the topic: “People’s Expectations When Progressives Are In Charge Of Government” Olateju-Adunni said “the achievements and political antecedents of progressive governments are substantial enough to give hope to the people
“Progressive government is always people centred. The progressive government focus majorly on educational development and empowerment of the people.
“Progressive government consults with the people to know what their needs are and they provide solutions to them based on priority, resources available and they look into the long term benefits to ALL; not selected few.
“The progressive government eliminates corruption. The progressive government gives an enabling environment to world best practices to encourage investments, social reforms, health reforms, infrastructural developments, improve the working standard of the civil service and improved standards of living for her people.
He therefore solicited support of all and sundry for progressive government to be able to accomplish more in the provision of dividend of democracy.
