Tension has pervaded Ilare-Ijesa, a community in Obokun Local Government of Osun state over the attack on a family by a suspected political thug.

The incident according to information occurred during a clash that ensued between the loyalists of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the sleepy community.

The husband and wife, Mr Elijah Babajide and Mrs Omoyeni Babajide who were both members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) were shot during the crisis that erupted on Tuesday.
