Breaking: Yobe Govt Relaxes Curfew By One Hour
Following the State Security Council meeting chaired by Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni on Tuesday, the Governor has approved that the state-wide curfew which normally begins from 10.00pm to 6.00am daily be relaxed by one hour.
Consequently, the curfew will now begin from 11.00pm to 6.00am daily throughout the state.
This was contained in a press statement signed by Abdullahi Bego, Director-general Press Affairs to the Governor and made available to CityMirrorNews in Damaturu on Thursday.
He said: “the Yobe State Government will continue to work closely with the security agencies in the state to ensure public safety and the security of life and property.”
