Breaking: Buhari Receives Certificate Of Return
The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has presented the certificate of return to Nigeria’s President elect, President Muhammadu Buhari.
Chairman of the commission, Mahmood Yakubu made the presentation at the collation centre in Abuja on Wednesday.
President Buhari speaking after receiving the certificate appreciated God and Nigerians for making his victory possible.
The president speaking further said the smooth conduct of the election connotes victory for the entire nation.
Stating that the election was free and fair, Buhari urges his supporters and party members not to gloat and work together with others to grow the nation.
Buhari also reiterated his commitment to ensuring an inclusive government urged all Nigerians to stand in brotherhood to make Nigeria move to the next level.
Speaking to other candidates who contested the elections with him, Buhari pleaded for support to achieve a better Nigeria.
He also condoled with the family of all those who lost their lives before, during and after the conduct of the Presidential election.
President Buhari will begin his second term in office after his inauguration in May 29, 2019.
