Osun AGF Felicitates With Christians At Christmas
A sociopolitical organization, Asiwàju Grassroots Foundation, AGF, Osun state chapter has felicitated with Christians and other Nigerians on today’s joyous occasion of Christmas.
AGF in a statement jointly signed by its Coordinator , Comrade Tijani Sikiru and Secretary, Comrade Yahaya Adeniji, and made available to newsmen in Osogbo, on Wednesday , said they give glory to God Almighty for giving them grace to witness this year Christmas celebration.
Osun AGF urged Nigerians especially Christians to use the festive period to pray for unity, peace, and the prosperity of Nigeria.
The group asked citizens of the state , especially Christians to imbibe the spirit of love, God’s omniscience and service to humanity associated with the birth of Christ.
AGF said: “As Christians in Osun join other Christians across the world to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ , we members of the popular sociopolitical organization, Asiwaju Grassroot Foundation (AGF) wish to rejoice with them on this joyous occasion.
‘We want to use this festive period to appeal to our Christian brothers and sisters on the need to always think about the legacy of love, mutual respect, and willingness to help one another in good or hard time as this is one of preach of Jusus Christ during his life time.
“Christians should use this year’s Christmas celebration to reaffirm their love and compassion for one another.
“Let us reflect on the import of the birth of the saviour, Jesus Christ and its redemptive hope to billions of people around the world and reignite the flame of love exemplified in Christ‘s birth.”
“And they should also use this period to pray for Governor Gboyega Oyetola and his deputy , Gboyega Alabi in their bid to take the state to the greater heights”.
They prayed that joy shall come in the morning for the people in the name of Jesus.
