Aregbesola’s Nomination as Minister, A Reward for Excellent Performance – Baderinwa

A former Commissioner for Information and Strategy in Osun state, Mr Adelani Baderinwa has lauded the nomination of former governor of the state, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola as a minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

The current Supervisor of the Ministry of Information and Strategy described Aregbesola’s nomination as a reward for competence and excellent performance of the former governor in his eight years reign in Osun.
Baderinwa in his congratulatory message commended President Muhammadu Buhari for counting Aregbesola worthy of being a member of the Federal Executive Council, stating that the ex-governor is patriotic and very passionate about Nigeria’s development.
According to Baderinwa, Aregbesola would no doubt bring his wealth of administrative and professional experience as a two-term Commissioner for Works in Lagos and governor of Osun to support the vision and developmental plans of President Buhari to take Nigeria to the desirable ‘Next-Level’.
Baderinwa said Aregbesola, being a compassionate person and unrepentant ‘Federalist’ would complement President Buhari’s efforts on delivery of good governance and socio-economic development.
He said: “Gold is given to only those who know its usefulness. Thank you, President Muhammadu Buhari for picking Rauf Aregbesola for higher and greater service for the sake of Nigeria and Nigerians.
“For a man who did so well as Commissioner in Lagos; for a man who left his footprints, and I mean bold footprints on the sands of times as governor of Osun, he will justify your confidence and his worth by leaving indelible legacy in the anal of Nigeria, especially if he is made to serve in his known forte.”
Baderinwa said the people of Osun are also grateful to Aregbesola for bequeathing to them an intelligent, focus and good administrator, Mr Adegboyega Oyetola as the Governor of the state.
According to Baderinwa, Aregbesola is on the clean and positive chapter of the history of the state, adding that his legacy transcends the infrastructural, socio-economic and educational development of the state, as it includes his right and capable choice of successor, Governor Oyetola.
