Poll Opens Early as Supplementary Elections Holds in Plateau

Polls have opened early in affected Polling Units in Nine Local Government Areas of Plateau state where supplementary governorship elections and a State House of Assembly elections are holding today.

In Barkin Ladi Local Government, accreditation and voting have commenced at Polling Unit 007, Barkin Joki, Barkin Ladi 001, Plateau State.

Poll opened at 8:00 am. Voters are on the queue while accreditation and voting progresses.

There is an appreciable improvement in the Smart Card Readers while the turnout is also impressive.
