Osun Assembly Chief Whip To Deliver Covenant University Town And Gown Event Lecture Tomorrow
The Chief Whip of the State of Osun House of Assembly, Mr Tunde Olatunji will on Thursday, 24th October, 2019 deliver a public lecture at the Covenant University, Ota, Ogun State.
The Lecture titled, ” The Lazy Nigerian Youth; a Myth or Reality?” will hold at the CUCRID main Auditorioum on the University Campus, commencing from 10 o’clock in the morning.
The lecture is the October Edition of the Town and Gown Event in the Department of Political Science and International Relations of the Institution.
A letter of invitation signed by the Head of the Department Professor Sheriff Folarin, describes Olatunji’s, invitation as consequent upon, “your exemplary leadership focus, drive and passion as a younger member of the State House of Assembly, as well as your commitment to a national project of Social red engineering of our climes”.
According to the letter, the University observes that, ” what you stand for syncs with our core values of possibility mentality, diligence and sacrifice of our great university “.
The letter expresses the hope that the University and Department will benefit and be inspired by Olatunji perspectives.
In a response of acceptance to the institution, the Chief Whip, Mr Tunde Olatunji described the invitation as a rare privilege to further the generational assignment of simulating and cultivating Nigeria young minds for a new, productive and prosperous Africa.
