The Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, President Muhammadu Buhari has defeated his major rival from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar at the Government House Makurdi, Benue state, polling unit.

He defeated him with a single vote. Buhari garnered a total of 125 as against Atiku who pulled 124.
