Aare Gani Adams Casts His Vote, Says, Election Peaceful, Urges Nigerians To Remain Calm
Aare Onakakanfo of Yorubaland, Iba Gani Adams, alongside his wife, Ayinba Mojisola Adams, on Saturday exercised their franchise .
Adams, who arrived unit 049,Somide Odujirin, Omole Phase 2 polling unit, Ikeja, Lagos,at exactly 10 am, went through the screening exercise and voted immediately.
Speaking to journalists shortly after the exercise, he described the electoral process as peaceful, urging Nigerians to remain calm and be patient with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)
“I am highly impressed with the conduct of the INEC officers. They arrived the venue at the appropriate time and the process was peaceful. With the current situation, I think Nigerians have spoken by casting their votes, it is left us to wait patiently as the result unfolds. But by and large, I am impressed and I look forward to the outcome of the election, “he said.
