Osun Chief Whip Felicitates With Aregbesola On His Appointment
The Chief Whip of the State of Osun House of Assembly, Hon Tunde Olatunji has felicitated with the immediate past Governor of the State of Osun, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola on his appointment as the Interior minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Olatunji in his congratulatory message, described the appointment as well merited.
Olatunji notes that,” Ogbeni Aregbesola with a demonstrated capacity in human capital development, the president makes no mistake in choosing him to drive his policy to strengthen internal security and the new policy shift of using the hitherto prisons as now correctional centers. Ogbeni has always believed that no citizens can be absolutely irresponsible or condemned, given the right environment and impetus for growth”
The Chief Whip argued that apart from the political correctness of the choice of Ogbeni Aregbesola, his integrity, moral values and capacity to deliver quality service in position of responsibility stands him out as a unique person.
He pointed out that the performance of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola as Commissioner in Lagos, his revolutionary leadership in Osun as a Governor, capacity for quality performance and unalloyed loyalty to party’s ideology attest to the fact that he eminently deserve the appointment.
Olatunji commended President Mohammadu Buhari’s for his wisdom, patriotism and commitment to progressive ideals which manifest again in his choice of Ogbeni Oyetola as a minister in Internal Affairs sector.
The Legislator concluded that Nigerians have high expectations of him and he trust that Ogbeni would deliver to the terms of his capacity and competence.
