Easter: Oranmiyan DG Rejoices With Christians, Advocates Peace, Unity

The Director General, Oranmiyan Worldwide, Hon Olajide Sadiq has urged Christians to use the period of Easter to reflect on the teachings of Jesus Christ and endeavor to emulate Christ in their daily lives

Sadiq in a statement he personally signed and made available to newsmen in Osogbo, on Saturday, enjoined Christian leaders to endeavor to do exactly what they preach.

The DG said by so doing congregation would not be misled

Wishing Christians a happy celebration, Sadiq reminded the Christians of the need to imbibe the spirit of love, sacrifice and selflessness exhibited by Jesus Christ, the symbol of Easter, in their relationship with one another.

He urged them to extend hands of fellowship to the needy and less-privileged members of the society.

He urged the people to emulate Jesus Christ, who volitionally offered himself as a living sacrifice for the redemption of mankind.

According to Oranmiyan DG, “it is incumbent upon the Christians to use the period of Easter to reflect on the opportunity offered them by the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ to be closer to their Creator.

“As we are celebrating the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ we should not relent in our prayers for the sustenance of the unity, peace and security of the country.
